The European Political Science Network (EpsNet) was designed to promote political science in Europe and to cater for the interests of individual political scientists, academic institutions and other bodies concerned with teaching and working in the discipline across Europe.
The network aims at: promoting co-operation in the teaching political science, improving the visibility of the discipline and the profession, providing discussion forums about the discipline, in collaboration with Political Science Associations and other organisations, providing a regular state of the discipline review, strengthening links between academics and the labour market, stimulating teacher and student exchanges and mobility, providing its members with information about the profession, supplying specific services to its members, etc.
Since the 1st of October 2004, the Secretariate is located in Budapest and directed by Dr. Attila Folsz, while “European Affairs” are located in Rome and coordinated by Prof. Federiga Bindi.
