HERODOT is the European Network of Geography
departments in higher
education. Members are drawn from all countries of Europe.
Academic
Geography departments, teacher training institutions, research
centres
and professional development organisations are all involved.
HERODOT
actively seeks to promote Geography in higher education and
to support
the professional development of Geographers. HERODOT unites
those
concerned with the 'state of Geography' and organisations
who are active
in regional, national, European and international contexts.
